Homology Modeling Epitopes of Kirsten Rat Sarcoma (KRAS) G12D, G12V and G12R as Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Vaccine Candidates

چکیده
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is among the world's deadliest cancers. Multiple studies demonstrated that PDAC frequently characterized by presence of Kirsten Rat Sarcoma (KRAS) G12D, G12V, and G12R protein mutants. The mutants are potential immunotherapy targets due to their as cancer-specific neoantigens. KRAS G12V contain vaccine-immunogenic epitopes. epitopes were presented at major histocompatibility complexes (MHC) class I. rational design peptide vaccines enhance efficacy cancer facilitated developing a structural data library knowledge MHC antigen presentation processes. Before predicting activity against MHC, homology modeling must transform into three-dimensional structure. In this study, I-TASSER was used perform with assistance other applications. silico methods for produce rationally designed can increase these vaccines. This study yielded four epitope models vaccination candidates, KSFEDIHHYR, GIPFIETSAK, VVVGARGVGK VVVGADGVGK.

Oncogenic KRAS Targets MUC16/CA125 in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma.
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a devastating disease with the 5-year survival rate less than 6%. Previous results indicated that serum levels of CA125 (encoded by MUC16) could be used to predict which groups of pancreatic cancer patients may benefit from surgery. However, the underlying mechanism remains elusive. Herein, using the Cancer Genome Atlas and clinicopathologic data obtai...
متن کاملKRAS-related noncoding RNAs in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a lethal disease with a poor overall prognosis. However, curative resection during the early stages of the disease can greatly improve survival rates, highlighting the importance of early screening and detection. Studies of noncoding RNAs, primarily microRNAs (miRNAs) and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), provide important insights into strategies for the...
متن کاملIn silico Analysis of Pasteurella multocida PlpE Protein Epitopes As Novel Subunit Vaccine Candidates
Background: Pasteurella multocida is a Gram-negative, non-motile, non-spore forming, and aerobic/anaerobic cocobacillus known as the causative agent of human and animal diseases. Humans can often be affected by cat scratch or bite, which may lead to soft tissue infections and in rare cases to bacteremia and septicemia. Commercial vaccines against this agent include inactivated, live attenuated,...
متن کاملPancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma staging
In addition to clinical history and evaluations, the results of laboratory tests and imaging studies help clinicians in determining treatment strategies. Imaging plays a central role in the management of oncology patients including the initial diagnosis, staging, and follow-up to assess treatment response. Historically, radiologists have relied on free-style dictations to convey the results of ...
